Cleanse: For new pendulums or when it hasn't been used in awhile, you can begin by cleansing it. This can be simple or elaborate.
Learn Directional Swings: Hold the chain of pendulum in the right hand & leave enough of it falling free to allow it to easily swing in any direction.Hold left hand out to the side or underneath the hanging pendulum, as the left hand is the receiving hand of energy. Tell the pendulum to show you "yes", it should swing in a direction. Then, stop it & tell the pendulum to show you "no", which it should swing in another direction. Once "yes" & "no" answers have been established, calibrate your pendulum by asking a few questions, that you already know the answers. If pendulum swings in a different direction than your "yes" or "no". rephrase the question.After connection is established, you are ready to use your pendulum.
Questions: For a clear answer, ask focused & specific questions that lead to only one answer. Divination with pendulums is best used for questions like. "Will our offer on the house be accepted?" or "Will I get that promotion?" The more detailed & specific, the better.
Create Safe Space: Clear mind & relax.
Ask: State question with precision & confidence, then wait for pendulum to talk. Once the question has been answered, completely stop its movement.Give thanks & release all attachment to the question before moving on.
Gratitude: Respect the relationship you are forming with your pendulum & express gratitude for the answers received from your higher spiritual self.
